Same work, same rights!
About one third of all academic staff in post-secondary institutions in BC are hired on a sessional basis. They do the same work as permanent faculty, but are often paid less, have limited access to benefits, and no job security. They are also often denied access to professional development time and support for scholarly activities.
I support fair treatment for all academic staff regardless of employment status, including equal compensation, access to professional development, scholarly activity, and service as part of any appointment.
